Nah... They were planning to make it the same everything cept with improved graphics and probably voice acting during the Video parts...

Overated game is overated. I admit it as a big step for the FF series, but in terms of narative 6 was better, and excluding FF8, FF7 really has nothing 6, 9 and 10 didn't offer.

Everyone says that this game is over rated but it still did what any game of its time didnt do...

I mean I hear people go 'OMG I love final fantasy VII' and then I ask them about the game and they don't know what I'm talking about because they haven't even played it. That craps stupid.

Square have stated they don't even know how to render large scale towns properly anyway. So I think it's out of the question this generation.

Anyways, I like FF7 allot it is a really nice game, FF6 is however the best one yet.
