After reading the above quote I thought: -"WTH, we are running a big community from people around the world, and even without donations we can help so much"
So...
The idea behind WSS Care, is to "help with knowledge"
By giving you more and more information about how you live vs how people in a developing country live, you should be able to change some habits and improve the world.
No money. No donations.
Just from your seat, room, home, office, etc.
You can change the world, and it's by knowledge!
If you still don't understand... Knowledge that can be use to modify habits that are not good, the fact that an average American uses 150 gallons vs the people in developing countries struggling to find 5, it's shocking!!! and it should create conscience. There are endless ways to help the world/people without the need of donating money or asking for goods.

There is no way i've ever used that much water in a day! maybe washing dishes...but that's totally sad. When i start making more money, i'm so donating to a cause like this. Excellent post, Sancor.

Great post. Could be donating once taxes come back.
You'd be surprised how much water you use without even thinking about it. Flushing, showers, dishes, washing hands, dishwashing machine, clothes washing machine, etc. It really adds up. Good idea Sancor, something we CAN be serious about.

I love the idea of what yall are trying to do, it's awesom. So I'll chip in my 2 cents worth.
Fruits and vegetables go to waste every year. People cannot afford to buy them so the EU spends millions of euros annually to destroy good fruits and vegetable. The US and Canada have equally despicable food policies. This is done while over 40,000 children die every day due to starvation.{note- maybe despicable isn't the right word, as I personally know some people who benifit from from programs like open door food kitchens and pantrys. Which are known to receive some of above said food as donations. I think the author was trying to say that more could be done.}
Ironicly the first bit led me to this...For the first time in history, overweight people is about to reach the number of underweight people. While some countries grow more prosperous, others confront with ever serious hunger problems. {All of this really hit home for me because I used to work as a chef/ cook in various kitchens and I would always see how wastefull people can be.} Sadly one of the "people" I mentioned that I knew that had to use the pantry also worked for me as a dishwasher. So he saw the waste to. but we made damn sure he was fed while at work. It was the best we could do.
there's a campaign here that encourages people not to waste water. for instance, they say "just turning the shower off 1 minute before you normally would saves a gallon of water, and therefore a gallon of water can be provided to cities that need it more."
so just get in, do your bussiness and get the hell out!
